one-on-one vs. group exercise

What is the difference, you ask?  There are benefits and pitfalls to each, depending on your needs.

The benefits of group exercise are that it is more affordable than 1:1 & sometimes camaraderie is a fantastic motivator in the grand scheme of things.  If only a minimal amount of direction, or cueing is necessary and you enjoy exercise with friends, this may be for you.  These classes are on a set schedule typically, which sometimes in and of itself is a motivator to come to class weekly.

The benefits of 1:1 exercise are that you have the time allotted to ask any questions needed at any time.  Also, you can do more variety of exercises for different parts of the body.  For my clients, I come with many years of physical therapy in my background and I integrate that into my sessions.  My clients will be trained effectively for overall fitness and reduction of painful symptoms.  These sessions are set up typically weekly.  However, they can be set up at the time of day most convenient to you the client, within studio hours.

I urge you to consider one of these for the betterment of your overall health.  You’ll be thankful that you did and I look forward to the opportunity of working with each of you!  God bless!
